About Reversim Summit 2015
Reversim (רברס עם פלטפורמה) is a Hebrew podcast by Ori Lahav and Ran Tavory which brings together software developers and product managers, with over 240 recorded episodes over six years and a few k listeners.
The summit is our intention to create a conference for developers by developers. Like in the podcast, we bring the content we are interested in, and we hope you will be too.
Who's behind this?
Ori Lahav is a Co-founder and GM Israel at outbrain and The Voice™ at reversim. Ori like paddling his kayak through rough seas and sail a yacht when storms are out.
Ran is a full stack developer and The Voice™, at reversim. Ran's interests are in slick and responsive web interfaces, nosql, web infrastructure, scaling, deployment automation, continuous deployment, programming languages, open source enthusiast. Currently the janitor at Gormim.

Ori is a mobile developer currently works at www.capriza.com. He mainly focuses on the mobile web right now but he wet his hands in native android development in the past (plus private projects been developed in the sleepless nights provided by his 3 young children).
His passions are around mobile UI, context sensitive goodness and startup's everyday life. He previously worked at Mercury and all sorts of startups later on.
Tal leads the platform R&D group at Kenshoo. Prior to that Tal led the Spring Insight project at VMware, worked at HP and founded a startup that dealt with social media analytics. He grows vegetables in his garden and enjoys running and riding his mountain bike.
Dotan had been programming everything he can for the past 16 years.
Today, Dotan is a polyglot programmer and a pragmatic builder: Dotan design products, specs them and then picks how and what will allow him to build them to last. Solving hard problems and building large-scale solutions, he'd gained an expertise on the CLR (C#), Ruby, JRuby and Node.js.
In the last couple of years, Dotan had also been digging into Clojure and Go.
Haim brings over 20 years of experience in various technology fields: software development, team management, software architecture, HPC and algorithmic research. Over the past nine years he has focused on Java platform performance optimization. In the last seven years, he has been involved as a consultant in more than a dozen of optimization projects. He brings nine years of experience working with Java, with in-depth understanding of the platform internals. Haim is one of the leaders of Java.IL (the Israeli Java user group).
Itay is leading an engineering team at Google (search backends; collaborative data engines; dev. and testing infrastructure). Teaches Software Design at the Technion. Holds a Ph.D. in the area of code analysis and programming language design from the Technion.
Used to believe that every program can be made simpler by adding just one more bit of static typing but now uses Node whenever he can.
Believes that the next big language will have curly braces.
Thinks that Mongo > Couch, Java > Scala, Testing > Implementation and that Morale > Design
Victor is a software developer and architect. He is passionate about technologies as much as he is about implementation and deployment methodologies. Eager about building products and teams to achieve business goals along with growing the organizational culture. Currently is a full stack developer at Commerce Sciences. Prior to Commerce Sciences Victor served as a Chief Architect at SupportSpace. Co-founder of the JavaIL community (www.meetup.com/JavaIL/). Among others Victor enthusiastic about programming languages: Groovy, Scala, Ruby.
Been around computers and programming for over 20 years now, since the early days of PPL for PCBoard and nowadays, mainly Node.js and Ruby.
Currently working @ Fiverr, doing Infrastructure and Architecture, trying to find a sane solution for a complex and modern services based environment.
On other days I chase rare birds in Israel as part of my role in the Israeli Rarities Committee and a father to 2 non-techie daughters.
Uri is the VP Engineering and the Site Manager of Klarna Tel Aviv. Uri has more than 16 years of experience in various companies, from small startups to big corporates. Uri is currently on a journey to build Klarna Engineering Center in Israel.

Eran is a software infrastructure team lead at Outbrain - we write the infrastructure that Outbrain's massive scale runs on: RPC, messaging infrastructure, persistence infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, lots of backend and middle-ware thingies, and what have you.
Before Outbrain Eran worked as an Architect for Orbitz World Wide for 5 years, and several startup companies you will never hear about.
Lital is a senior software engineer at JoyTunes with more than 10 years of experience. Lital is an agile enthusiastic, following the method and also teaches others.
Yoav Abrahami is the Chief Architect at Wix.com, working with developers and operations to build the company's future products as well as accelerating and improving development processes. Prior to joining Wix, Yoav was an Architect at Amdocs Cramer OSS division. Yoav holds a MS in Physics and a BS in Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University.
